Support for Students and Families

Supporting the Whole Child—Academically, Socially, and Emotionally

At Keppel, we are committed to providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment where every child can thrive. Our Student Support Services are designed to meet the academic, emotional, and social needs of all students—from Preschool through 5th grade.

Whether a child needs a little extra help with classwork, support navigating feelings, or someone to talk to, our team is here to help. We partner closely with families, teachers, and specialists to ensure that students feel seen, supported, and set up for success.

Our services include:

  • Academic Support: Intervention programs and small group instruction are embedded during the instructional day for students who need help building skills or staying on track.
  • Counseling Services: School counselors and social workers provide guidance lessons, one-on-one support, and small group sessions focused on emotional wellness, behavior, friendship, and conflict resolution.
  • Mental Health Services: Referrals for additional support are available for students' experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, or other challenges that may affect their well-being.
  • Family Partnerships: We work with families to identify needs and connect them to school and community resources.

Our goal is to ensure that every student has the tools and support they need to succeed—both in school and in life.
